8. Children’s Privacy

Our website and campaign communications are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the request.

You opt in only when you voluntarily provide your mobile number and affirmatively check the SMS consent box or use another clear opt-in method we provide. The phone-number field is optional. Providing a phone number without affirmative consent does not enroll that number in the SMS program.

By opting in, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number and are authorized to consent to calls and texts at that number.

2. Messages You Can Expect

Messages may include:

• Election dates, voter information, and voting reminders.

3. Message Frequency and Charges

Messages are recurring. Message frequency may vary and may increase around elections, campaign events, public actions, or fundraising deadlines. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Save Austin Now PAC does not charge a separate fee for the SMS program.

4. STOP and HELP Instructions

To opt out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We may send one final, non-promotional text confirming your opt-out. After that confirmation, you will receive no further SMS messages from this program unless you opt in again. We will also honor other reasonable requests to revoke consent.

5. Privacy

SMS opt-in information will not be sold, rented, or shared. No mobile information will be shared by Save Austin Now PAC with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared by Save Austin Now PAC with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

6. Delivery and Carriers

Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program may not be available on every device, carrier, or service area.

7. Program and Terms Changes

We may modify or discontinue the SMS program and may update these terms. Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued participation after an update is subject to the revised terms, but you may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
